shopping trick

I went to Bugis to shop with colleague just now.
Then i went to Sim Lim also to check camera price.
Let me share you their method to sell things.

I went to few shops @ Simlim and asked around about the price.
I intend to buy Canon IXUS 70/75/860. Then i went around to look for the cheapest one.
IXUS 70 usually they sell about SGD 380, IXUS 75 around SGD 400 then IXUS 860 is more than SGD 500. The CANON actual price from registered dealer is SGD 699.
Then i found one shop. Belly Trading Centre or what.. I just remember the name got “Belly”.
They told me wanna sell IXUS 860 for SGD 450. Somemore they would give me, Memory card 2gb, mini tripod, case, and cleaner and original warranty from CANON.
Then i called my friend and ask whether they cheated me or not. Because i don’t know if they will sell not authentic thing to me.
Then after calling, they looked not happy and angry why i still need to call friend and never believe them. Of course i never believe them lah. So stupid me if i believe them. But then i agreed to purchase it. I already wanted to pay, then the seller told me i would regret if i bought CANON. Then he told me all that weaknesses.
Then they introduced me to another non branded camera. Hmm cannot say non branded one. I remember the brand is ‘Polaroid’.
Just now i google, i found the website here. But i cannot find the camera that they showed me. Well i told them i still wanted to buy the CANON one. He said that CANON was brand new. Then i said, how come you can sell very cheap one compare to other store. They said, they were authorized dealer from CANON. but i don’t believe them.
If they really sell me, i would go to CANON Service centre the next day to prove whether they sell me authentic camera or not.
If not i’ll return it back to them.
But in the end they don’t dare to sell to me. They gave excuse they lacked of stock. Then they asked me to buy the display camera.
Were they CRAZY??!!! Of course I didn’t want! Hey, they display one is NOT BRAND NEW and got SO MANY SCRATCH!
D*mn! They wanna cheat me. Although i’m look innocent :p but i’m not

That one is the trick to attract customers.
They will give unresonable damn cheap price. Then when you agree to buy, they will tell you will regret or bla bla bla.
Then they will suggest you to buy another unknown brand. With around the same price, but better quality as they said. (maybe they bluff only)
Then if you buy, means you will get cheated. You buy un branded thing very EX one.

If i insisted to wait for them to restock, they will give me another excuses, like the price increase already or what.
Huh. Angry.
But at least today i know another method to cheat ppl. So next time i won’t get cheated. LOL. Btw today i never get cheated.

Another thing i learn is…
IF a customer pass by your shop, and they keep asking this and that, they may have intention to buy.
So the seller must be smart how to rise the intention. Then the seller must get the customers trust. (this what they failed to do to me)
They never get my trust. I always never trust them, and they cannot convinced me.
I won’t trust people that easy. Especially that kind of people whose motive only after our money.

Be careful guys..
Lesson no1: Don’t trust the seller. Don’t listen to their sweet-talks.
Lesson no2: Must go compare price to other store. And read users’ review in internet.
Lesson no3: Don’t afraid to cancel the transaction. Never mind if they scolded you. At least you are not cheated.
Lesson no4: Bargain bargain and bargain.
Lesson no5: If you doubt means NO. Trust this, you won’t regret one. Any doubt in your heart means NO. Trust your heart.

Sigh… still longing for camera. -___-

2 years blogging

This month is exact 2 years i do blogging since i move to blogspot. Before that i did blog @ Friendster for few months.
Because a lot of limitation then i move to modblog. This modblog was often down so i move to blogdrive.
But since that time i was really newbie, blogdrive was not suitable for such a new user like me. So my friends recommended me to try blogspot.
Yeah, finally i sign up at blogspot.

Noturningpoint. Why i choose this name is because every path i have made, i cannot turn back and redo.
Cannot undo everything i’ve done. That’s why the name is noturningpoint. Inside i write about all my daily life, some of my boring life, love life, study, work life, my personal thoughts and photos!
This is my blog, a personal blog, so mostly i’ll talk about me, myself, and my feeling.
Another reason why i decide to write a blog is… because i’m lazy to write email to my friends.
So why don’t i write anything in my blog then ask them to read if they want to know about me. . it’s easier to tell them my story with photos.

It’s a good media to someone like me who is lazy but like writing diary.
I can type quite fast, and typing no need so much energy.
That’s why i decided to say good bye to my old diary book.
I have written quite a lot… i think got 4-5 books of diary
Well blog help me save my time. When i need to hand write, usually i cannot write fast. Sometime i just write halfway then suddenly my mood to write is no longer there. This i blamed to my slow hand writing. =(
So blog is really help a lot.

I like to write a ‘light’ thing about my daily life, because usually i also like to read about others’ daily life.
Sometimes it’s difficult for me to keep in touch with my friend, because the timing is not there ( when i’m free they are not, and when they are free, i’m not) but i still care to them and i want to know what they face in their life. are they sad, happy, in difficulties or what.
Then i just can read their blog in my freetime, and they can do it also. it help us communicate each other without disturbing

Today i collect my GV Membership Card.

the card is so cute =)
the first time i thought the card will be ugly because the membership is free.
but i found it nice.

Last week my boss told me about this membership. He said buy 1 ticket got 1 free ticket.
Then i opened their website to browse more info.
Then i found the membership is free and last forever. Then they give privilege buy 1 get 1 free during the birthday month. Then i realize my b’day month is going to end already. So i fast apply and print the e-voucher to get ticket.
What else can i get from this membership card?
Well… not much but…
* free 1 coke if you buy popcorn
* tuesday movie only for $6
* free sms confirmation
* you can choose your own seat.
* and still some more… you open n browse yourself. .

So today i plan to collect my membership and buy the ticket.
Because this week is going to end, and i have no other free day to watch movie.
So i called a friend to company me watching movie.
I browse the movie, only can find “Beowulf” that start around 7pm. I don’t wanna watch 9 pm movie because too late, tomorrow still need to wake up so early to work again.
So no choice, but to choose this movie coz only this movie start around 7. sigh.

The movie is just okay. I give rate 3/5.
The story is about the curse.
“Was she that pretty?”
“She was beautiful and full of fine promises” a short conversation between beowulf and his wife that he won from the previous king.
Beowulf is a brave man that is after glory, victory and… woman. Nothing scare him. He can kill lots of monsters, but pretty woman is his weakness. This remind me of the story of Samson.
He comes to a kingdom to kill a monster, but after that he fall for the monster’s mother. From there the curse begins.
In the end he must kill his own son (from that monster), which is a dragon. And he dies after that.
This movie is full of violence and some nudity. The graphic is quite good.
Moral of this movie… ‘Beautiful woman is poisonous.’ LOL.
Haha… well don’t just go for the look. A man who is after glory then surrender everything, will reap his sin one day.

Next movie i wanna catch:

* Golden Compass

Yeah, i’m excited!
This week is quite pack for me, as in the beginning i see this week i’ll have a lot of ‘free’ time. but i am not. =D
Not boring staying at home at least.
Means i got a lot of activity that i can blog here. YAY! hehe…
Another interesting thing is SITEX is coming!
I’ll go there on Sunday. =) hope can find cheap thing. LOL. i wish i can buy my camera! Hehe…

musim kawin

Di indo sekarang lagi ngetrend musim kawin. terutama dikalangan temen2 saya, temen sd, temen tk, temen smp, temen sma, ampe temen kuliah. bahkan ada yang udah pada gendong anak. duh gile…
gw aja belom juga punya co… temen2 gw uda pada gendong baby. uda pada bisa ngerumpi ibu2 RT. arisan.
gw belom join d club neh. entah kapan yah bisa join d club. club arisan ibu2 dengan membawa anak menggosipkan suami dan rumahtangga plus ngecomblangin anaknya yang masih bayi.

Oh sigh.

And you know what…
one of my bestfriend is getting married, or actually is married already last saturday.
And yeah, since i’m here, she did not invite me to her wedding. coz she knew i also couldn’t come too. But too bad for her, her wedding matrimony was held in her in law’s funeral. Then they will hold the banquet this coming Friday.
Well… although i cannot come, but i still wanna wish her a very happy wedding. Hope that she can live happily with her husband ever after. And may God gives them strength and patience to face every struggles and problems that may come into their life. but as long as they walk in God, everything will be alright.

All of my friends are getting married one by one and left me behind. oh no!
i dun like to be left behind. so maybe i’ll start searching for one. LOL.
I still enjoy my life rite now. so i won’t rush to find one to marry.

i still wanna do a lot of things,
earn a lot of money,
travel around of the world,
buy many things,
…

then my friend said, all those thing i still can do when i already married.
Well… maybe…
but that time you cannot make any decision without discussing with your partner rite.
freedom.. you’ll never have it again. =)

another weekend.

Today i go to Bugis – Suntec – Citihall to shop.
But amazingly today i never buy anything. just spend money to eat.
Have dessert @ Bugis. A very yummy mango with sago.
the mango are very fresh and nice. very yummy, recommended. But i forget the store name.
When you walk from bugis to Shaw tower, you will pass by this stall.
Have Sakae sushi as dinner.
3 of us eat 18 colorful plates. Yummy and full..

I feel very happy yesterday because a friend of mine gave me SAMBAL ABC.
A very yummy sambal from Indonesia.
Here i try to buy another brand of sambal, but not nice. Only sambal abc that is imported from Indonesia is nice.

I’m really disappointed with AudioHouse.
I saw their brochure that said they have sale. BIG sale 60%.
But beside the price they put a small (*) that asked us to refer to the cover page.
Yesterday i were very happy coz the camera only $219. so cheap.
but after i read the cover page, they said, they only give us 60% disc if i can guess the first number of first price of 4D on wednesday. Means i need to purchase things from them first, then tell them the number that i guess, then wait until wednesday 4d. if you can guess one number of the first price 4d, they will refund u 60%.
HUH!
Very disappointing.
This store is always like that one. They always put the SALE 60% big2 one, that can make ppl misunderstand. Better call em first before you go there.
Coz after u reach there u’ll realized the discount is not true and waste your time to go there.

who prays harder

I have a broken heart (almost).
I don’t even start praying, yet already have a broken heart.
A friend of mine said, just pray. And see who prays harder. LOL.

I wish i could change the result if like that. Maybe need to take few days leave or MC to pray and fast LOL.
But i don’t think i can change it.

tithe

Hyah this blogger is normal again.
Usually when i try to change the font size then cannot, means i also cannot publish post.
all i have written will be gone. Dunno go where and why.

Few days ago i checked my tithe* summary on my e-hope.
Then i only can see until September 2007 tithe. Means for the October and November i cannot see. Then i checked my bank account whether i paid already or haven’t. I paid. But why i cannot see it. Then i emailed them about this. They fast replied me and they said they can see my tithe until Nov. But y i cannot see it i still dunno. Then they said will check again. But until today i still cannot see.
So strange. Hope will appear there soon the amount.

*Tithe is 10% from our salary to be given to God (local church that we are committed).

Hmm yesterday i went to Chinatown before CG to take my things from my mom’s friend. My mom sent me contact lenses. Because buying them in Indonesia are much cheaper. The same acuvue monthly 3 pairs cost $25. I buy here will cost me $39. Almost $15 differences.
My mom asked her friend to send my thing over because her friend is going to Sg. After i took my things, i went shopping a lil bit.
I found this cute high heels. Ya, high heels. With it i’ll become 176.5 cms high. LOL.
Few weeks ago went for health assessment and they told me my height was 169.5 centimeters. I grew 1.5 cms. LOL last time i measure only 168 cms. Maybe the measurement is not valid. Nevermind. The high heels are 7cms. So add in together my height will become 176.5 cms. LOL.

I know I already tall enough. And wearing these heels will make me looks super tall.
I just couldn’t find a nice flat shoes. And i saw these heels are super cute. and super cheap. So i bought them. But i dunno when i’m going to wear them.

After that went to EDB Learning Centre for CG.
I like the ladies there, because a lot of mirrors and super bright. Good to take picture.
I took one pic. and my face become super white. =p
Went home around 10pm, and reach home around 10.30 pm. Super tired and super sleepy.
After checking internet for awhile, i went to bed. I’m addicted to internet so much.
In indonesia i were not that addicted to internet, but i were addicted to comics. Everyday must read one. And here i cannot read comics, coz all are written in chinese. SIGH! I wonder why they didn’t write it in English. Huh?
